About Dr. Gary

Dr. Gary Tran has a B.S. in Chemistry from San Diego State University, with a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). Dr. Gary is licensed to practice acupuncture in the State of California and has 9 years of acupuncture experience, 4 years being post-graduate experience. He has also worked at En Acupuncture & Herbology, Inc. for nearly 3 years.

Outside of acupuncture and his wellness practice, Dr. Gary has coached high school badminton since 2010 and currently coaches at Mira Mesa High School, who have just won their first CIF Championship Title this year. He has also participated in the 2024 San Diego Rock N' Roll Marathon and ran a full marathon. "It's not fun", he says, "but I'm glad I completed that milestone so I can understand more about running athletes and their pain."
